§         Original copy of child’s birth certificate

§         For child holding a foreign birth certificate, please bring along child’s original birth certificate and passport

§         For child less than 5 years old, parent or legal guardian has to be joint account holder.  The additional documents required are:

§         Parent’s original NRIC or passport or

§         Legal guardian’s original NRIC or passport and official proof of Legal Guardianship (issued by the court)

Mail-in application:

For your convenience, you may make use of this application form   to open a Young Savers account for your child, in the comfort of your home.  Just mail the completed application together with the following documents:

§         Copy of child’s birth certificate

§         For child holding a foreign birth certificate, please include copy of child’s birth certificate and passport

§         Parent or legal guardian has to be joint applicant.  The additional documents required are:

§         Parent’s copy of NRIC (front and back) or passport or

§         Legal guardian’s original NRIC (front and back) or passport and official proof of Legal Guardianship (issued by the court)

§         For foreigners, please include copy of passport and Work Permit or Employment Pass

§         For non-existing OCBC Bank customers, please submit any one of the following latest original documents which with the same name and address indicated on your application form :

§         Telephone bill from Singtel, M1 or Starhub           OR

§         Half-Yearly CPF Statement from CPF Board       OR

§         Any statement (savings, checking, credit card or personal credit statement) from a bank in Singapore

 Just visit any OCBC Branch and deposit S$20 into the Young Savers account and your child will become a Mighty Saver^TM.
