Why is the bank terminating the OCBC Robinsons VISA Card?

The OCBC Robinsons VISA Card has been discontinued since September 2008 and cardmembers were invited several times to upgrade to the OCBC Robinsons Visa Platinum Card, which gives cardmembers more privileges than ever before.

I did not upgrade my card. Can I still do it now?

We regret to inform that the upgrade exercise has ended and you will be requested to send in a new application for the OCBC Robinsons Visa Platinum Card together with your latest income documents. Please note that all new applications are subject to approval.

I upgraded my Principal Card but not my Supplementary Card. What will happen to my Supplementary Card?

Upon first use of your Principal Robinsons Platinum Card or on 20 April 2009 whichever is earlier, your unconverted Supplementary Card will be terminated and any outstanding balances will be billed in full. You will need to re-apply for a new Supplementary Card if you wish.

Can I still redeem my Robinsons$?

After your card is terminated, any remaining Robinsons$ in the card account will be forfeited.

Will the total outstanding amount be reflected in my statement?

Yes, your total outstanding amount will be reflected in your May 2009 statement, including the aggregated amount of any unbilled 0% Interest Instalments.
