PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING REMINDER IN RELATION TO NON-EMV MAGNETIC STRIP OCBC CREDIT CARDS AS OF 31 MARCH 2011:
Your non-EMV magnetic strip OCBC Credit Card will be invalid by 31 Mar 2011. We have previously sent you an EMV Smart Chip Credit Card that provides you enhanced security and protection against card fraud. Please destroy the old card immediately and start using the new card. If you have not received your EMV Smart Chip Credit Card, please call our Customer Service Executives at 1800 363 3333.
Please note the following changes governing the use of your OCBC Debit Card with effect from 18 December 2009: Disclosure of information for OCBC Debit Card With effect from 18 December 2009, the OCBC Debit Cardmembers Agreement will be updated with regards to clauses pertaining to disclosure of information. Loss/Theft/Misuse of Card/Disclosure of PIN With effect from 18 December 2009, the cardholders' liability shall be limited to a maximum of $100 for lost or stolen card or if the PIN is disclosed. Debit Card Replacement Fee With effect from 18 December 2009, the Card Replacement Fee will be revised to S$20 per card for all OCBC Debit Cards. Please note the following change in relation to Authorised 3rd Party for OCBC Credit Cards with effect from 1 December 2009:
With effect 1 December 2009, only OCBC Principal and Supplementary Cardholders are able to instruct for card replacement for their respective card. CARE Cards Closure OCBC CARE Classic & Gold Cards will be discontinued from 30 Oct 09 (extended deadline from 30 Sep 09). For existing Standing Payment Instructions on your CARE Card, e.g. insurance or phone bills, please notify the relevant parties of your alternative payment mode by 30 Oct 09 to avoid any disruption of payment. Please note the following changes governing the use of your OCBC Credit Card with effect from 1 June 2009: Revision in Interest Charges With effect from 1 June 2009, if payment is not made in full by the payment due date, interest charges is calculated at 24.96% per annum(minimum $2.50 per month) on a daily basis on the outstanding balance and all new purchases charged to your card account from the date of purchase(s). Interest Charges for cash advances will be calculated at 28.92% per annum(minimum $2.50 per month) on amount withdrawn from the transaction date until the date that payment is made in full. To ensure prompt payment by payment due date, you may wish to pay by interbank GIRO or if you have an OCBC deposit account, you can also make payment via Internet Banking or Phone Banking. Please note the following changes governing the use of your OCBC Credit Card with effect from 1 April 2009 (updated as of 26 February 2009): Annual Fees Revision With effect from 1 April 2009, the annual fees of the OCBC Platinum MasterCard, OCBC Arts Platinum MasterCard, SMU-OCBC Platinum MasterCard, NTUAC-OCBC Platinum MasterCard and NTU-OCBC Platinum MasterCard will be revised to S$150 p.a. for Principal Card and S$75 p.a. for Supplementary Card; and the annual fees of the OCBC VISA Classic and OCBC Standard MasterCard will be revised to S$30 p.a. for Principal Card and S$30 p.a. for Supplementary Card. Card Replacement Fee With effect from 1 April 2009, the Card Replacement Fee will be revised to S$25 per card for all OCBC Credit Cards. Please note following changes governing the use of your OCBC Credit Card with effect from 1 April 2009 (updated as of 17 February 2009): Repayment Period With effect from 1 April 2009, the Repayment Period will be revised to 24 calendar days from the Statement Date. Cash Advance Fee With effect from 1 April 2009, our Cash Advance Fee will be revised to S$15 or 6% on the amount withdrawn, whichever is greater, applicable for each Cash Advance transaction. Cash Advance interest of 24% p.a. (minimum S$2.50) on the amount withdrawn, calculated from the withdrawal date until date of full payment, remains unchanged. Please note the following change in relation to OCBC Secured Credit Cards as of 1 October 2008: Please be informed that only OCBC S$ Time Deposits can be used as security for OCBC Secured Credit Cards. Should your OCBC Secured Credit Card(s) currently be secured by any structured deposit, your structured deposit will be converted to a one-month time deposit (unless other instructions have been specified) upon maturity or early termination. Please note following changes governing the use of your OCBC Credit Card with effect from 15 September 2008 (updated as of 14 August 2008): Please be informed that all statements due from 15 September 2008 will be subject to Late Payment Fee if the minimum payment is not received by the monthly payment due date. To ensure prompt payment, you may wish to enroll in our Inter-Bank GIRO facility or you can make payment via OCBC ATM, Internet Banking or Phone Banking services. Please note following changes governing the use of your OCBC Credit Card with effect from 1 July 2007: IPP Cancellation Fee Please be inform that effective 1 July 2007, an administrative fee of S$150 will be levied for premature repayment or cancellation of any Instalment Payment Plan. This fee will be debited to your card account together with the remaining cancelled plans. Consolidated Credit Card Statement You can now enjoy greater convenience with a consolidated OCBC Credit Card statement starting from 25 June 2007.
