Invitation to the OCBC Golf Series 2011 is open to OCBC Titanium and Platinum MasterCard members who have met the minimum spend of S$1,500 from 1 – 30 September 2011, and are the first 100 Cardmembers to register with us within the registration period listed. Slots will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Any registrations before 1 October 2011 or after 5 October 2011 will not be accepted. Only registrations made through the OCBC Golf registration hotline stated above are valid. A participation fee will be charged to the customer card account upon successful registration. Only successful registrants will be notified via email. Any early or late registration will not be considered. Priority will be given to first-time registrants. Each Cardmember is only eligible to win the championship once throughout the same calendar year. Cancellation has to be made 7 days in advance or there will be no refund for the participation fee charged.

What is the OCBC Golf Series 2011 about?

The OCBC Golf Series 2011 is a string of organised golf games which OCBC Credit Cards is organising for OCBC Titanium and Platinum Cardmembers, where they can look forward to taking part in an exciting round of golf game with like-minded golfers. Participants can look forward to winning exciting prizes as well as receiving goody bag items.

What will the participation fee be inclusive of?

The participation fee include fees payable for Green Fees, Buggy and light refreshment charges, and will be charged to customer’s card account upon successful registration.

What kind of charges will be eligible to qualify for the S$1,500 spending requirement?

Only retail spending made on your OCBC Titanium / Platinum Cards will be eligible as qualifying spend. Cash Advance transactions, IPP transactions, Balance Transfer transactions, CashWise, bank charges, finance and late charges are not eligible in the computation for the spend required.

How would I know if I'm successful in my registration?

Successful registrants will receive an email notification from OCBC with the game and flight details. This email notification will be sent one week prior to the golf game.

When will I be charged for the participation fee?

The participation fee will be charged to either your OCBC Platinum or Titanium MasterCard upon successful registration in our golf game.

I have been successful in my registration but due to personal matters, I’m unable to participate. How do I withdraw from the golf game?

You can call our Customer Service Hotline: 1800 363 3333 to inform us on your withdrawal, 7 working days prior to the golf game.

Will the participation fee be refunded if I withdraw?

Yes, the participation fee will be refunded if you have informed us of your withdrawal 7 working days prior to the golf game. Please note that there will NOT be any refund of the participation fee if you do not inform us 7 working days prior to the golf game.

Why was I not accepted for the golf game?

The selection for the 100 slots is based on the following criteria:

Only for OCBC Platinum or Titanium Cardmembers who have made a minimum spend of S$1,500 in the stated month.
On a first-come-first-serve basis during the registration period.
Priority will be given to first time participants who have not played in the other golf games in the OCBC Golf Series 2011.

If I participated in earlier golf games in the OCBC Golf Series 2011, does this mean I am not eligible to participate in upcoming 2011 golf games?

Priority will be given to first-time participants who have not played in the other golf games in the OCBC Golf Series 2011. However, if there are slots remaining, we will consider registrants who have played at the earlier games.

I sent in my registration before the registration period, why was I not accepted?

It is stated in the Terms & Conditions that any registrations sent before or after the registration period will not be accepted.

I spent above S$1,500 on my Robinsons Platinum/Arts Platinum/other card – why was I not accepted?
