 Answers
1:What is SeniorCare?
  Ans: SeniorCare is a personal accident plan specially designed for elderly aged from 40 to 69 year old. It pays total and permanent accidental disablement benefit, accidental death benefit, common injuries benefit and daily accident hospital income.

2:Who can apply SeniorCare?
  Ans: This plan is eligible to all OCBC customers who have a deposit/Credit Card/EasiCredit account. You can also apply SeniorCare for your spouse.

3:Are there any age criteria in applying SeniorCare?
  Ans: The insured person must be aged from 40 to 69 years old. This plan is automatically renewed until the insured person reaches 80 years old.

4:Can I apply SeniorCare for a third party?
  Ans: You can only apply SeniorCare for your spouse. Your relatives and friends can apply SeniorCare on their own if they are OCBC account holders.

5:Are there any eligibility criteria on occupation?
  Ans: Yes, the excluded occupations are: police force personnel, fire service personnel, civil defense personnel, CISCO personnel, military personnel, chauffeurs, tax/dispatch/heavy vehicle/delivery drivers, security officers/guards, diver, cabin crew or pilot and those involved in underground work or offshore work or operation.

6:I already have a SeniorCare policy with OAC, can I still apply?
  Ans: No, because you can only be covered under one policy with OAC.

7:I already have a SeniorCare policy with OAC. But I want to apply for my spouse and/or parents. What should I do?
  Ans: To apply SeniorCare for your spouse and/or parents, please contact OAC Customer Service at 6248 2662 (Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm) for assistance.

8:I already have a personal accident plan with other insurer. Can I still apply SeniorCare?
  Ans: Yes, you can as this plan pays on top of your existing plan with the other insurer, including Eldershield.

9:Who can I contact at Overseas Assurance Corporation Ltd for more information?
  Ans: You can contact our Customer Service Officers at Overseas Assurance Corporation Ltd at 6248 2662 from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Alternatively, you can email to csbancassurance@oac.com.sg.

10:How do I apply for SeniorCare?
  Ans: You need to have an existing account (Deposit/ Credit Card/EasiCredit) to SeniorCare online. You need to:
• Fill up your particulars and your spouse's details (if enrolling) on the online application form.
• Enter your promotional code, if you have any, to enjoy additional discount off your premium.
• Select the account for the premium amount to be debited from. Please ensure that the account selected has sufficient balance for premium debiting.
• Click on the "preview" button to proceed.
• Once you have confirmed that all information provided is correct, click on "submit" to activate.
• Upon successful submission, your application for SeniorCare is completed.

11:After I submit the application, when can I receive the policy contract?
  Ans: You will receive the policy contract and documents 5 working days after the submission date.

12:How do I make a claim?
  Ans: To make a claim, you can contact our Customer Service Officers at Overseas Assurance Corporation Ltd at 6248 2628 from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

13:Do I have to renew the policy every month?
  Ans: This is an automatic renewal policy on a monthly basis up to age 80 years old. As long as the monthly premium can be debited from the designated OCBC account by the premium due date, the policy will be renewed. Hence, you are advised to ensure that the nominated OCBC account has sufficient balance for debiting by the premium due date.
