1. PERSONAL TRAVEL ACCIDENT INSURANCE
1.1 ELIGIBILITY
Covers any OCBC Credit Cardmembers* and their immediate family** who have charged their air tickets for the scheduled flight to their OCBC Credit Card.
Insured person refers to a valid OCBC Credit Cardmember and their immediate family who have stayed in the country of residence for the past 6 months.
* OCBC Credit Cardmembers refer to only OCBC Generic Visa Classic/MasterCard Standard Cardmembers, OCBC Generic Visa/MasterCard Gold Cardmembers, OCBC Titanium Cardmembers, OCBC Platinum Cardmembers and OCBC Arts Platinum Cardmembers. All co-brand and affinity Cardmembers are not covered.
** Immediate family shall deem to include the legally married spouse and children up to 18 years or 23 years if the child is still a student. The Personal Accident benefits payable to any child is capped at 50% of the capital sum insured.
1.2 COVERAGE
The coverage includes bodily injury caused solely by an accident occurring whilst travelling overseas via air conveyance operated under the licence for the transportation of passengers for hire from the time to the airport, embarking and disembarking from the plane and upon reaching the first destination immediately after arrival or within 2 hours upon arrival, whichever occurs first. The same condition will apply in the return trip.
1.3 SUM INSURED
Sum insured is S$250,000 for OCBC VISA Classic/MasterCard Standard Cardmembers, OCBC VISA/MasterCard Gold Cardmembers & OCBC Arts Platinum MasterCard Cardmembers and S$500,000 for OCBC Titainium/Platinum MasterCard Cardmembers.
1.4 INSURED EVENT
The bodily injury shall directly and independently of any other cause be the sole cause of any of the results and the programme covers a Cardmember up to a maximum of 90 days per trip.
All claims must be made within 12 months of the happening of the accident. 100% of capital sum insured upon the following:
(a) Accidental Death
(b) Total & permanent disablement from engaging in or attending to employment or occupations of any and every kind
(c) Total & permanent loss of all sight in one or both eyes
(d) Total loss by physical severance or total & permanent loss of use of:
(i) one or two limbs
(ii) one or both hands
(iii) arm above the elbow
(iv) arm at or below the elbow
(v) leg above the knee
(vi) leg at or below the knee
2. FLIGHT & BAGGAGE INSURANCE
2.1 ELIGIBILITY
Covers any OCBC Credit Cardmembers and their immediate family* who have charged their air tickets for the scheduled flight to their OCBC Credit Card.
Insured person refers to a valid OCBC Credit Cardmember and their immediate family who have stayed in the country of residence for the past 6 months.
* Immediate family shall deem to include the legally married spouse and children up to 18 years or 23 years if the child is still a student.
2.2 COVERAGE
Section A – Flight Delay &/or Flight Misconnection
To indemnify the Insured Person against OCBC Credit Card charges incurred with respect to hotel accommodation, telephone calls and restaurant meals or refreshments up to the specified sum insured as a result of the cancellation and/or delayed departure and/or flight misconnection for more than 4 hours of an aircraft which the Insured Person had previously booked to travel, caused by strike, industrial action, hijack, criminal act, bomb scare, riot, civil commotion, fire, flood, earthquake, landslide, avalanche, adverse weather conditions or mechanical breakdown provided that these had not occurred, commenced or been announced before the trip was booked.
Not applicable while delay occurs in the country of residence.
Section B – Baggage Delay
To indemnify the Insured Person against the expenses charged to OCBC Credit Card if the Insured Person’s accompanied checked-in luggage is not delivered to him within 6 hours of the Insured Person’s arrival at scheduled destination (not point of origin) of his flight in respect of the emergency purchase of essential clothing and requisites up to the specified sum insured.
Not applicable while delay occurs in the country of residence.
Section C – Baggage Loss
To indemnify the Insured Person against the expenses charged to OCBC Credit Card due to the loss of the baggage if baggage is not delivered within 48 hours of Insured Person’s arrival at scheduled destination in respect of the emergency purchase of essential clothing and requisites incurred within 4 days of his/her arrival at scheduled destination up to the specified sum insured.
Not applicable if it occurs in the country of residence.
This sum insured is payable in addition to the amount for baggage delay in the event that Insured Person has already been indemnified for baggage delay. However, if the indemnification is required for both Section B and C, then the maximum amount payable for both Sections shall not exceed the limit of Section C.
2.3 SUM INSURED
The Flight & Baggage Insurance covers Flight Delay &/or Flight Misconnection, Baggage Delay and Baggage Loss.

3. INSURANCE BENEFITS
The above insurance are arranged by Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited with a third party insurance company (hereinafter, called the Insurer) for the benefit of all OCBC Credit Cardmembers (Insureds).
